Friends,
I would like to take this opportunity to inform you about the efforts being made by OCA to ensure that communication is received by one and all and information regarding the Alma Mater is disseminated to as many of the Alumni as possible. This will ensure in the future, that information regarding events, happenings in the school and access to the Alumni database is within reach of a larger section.
To achieve this objective, I humbly seek your whole hearted support and co-operation in making this endeavour a success and ensuring that a large section of the Alumni is able to receive the communications that are sent out from the OCA centre, which will result in an enhanced feeling of being part of this network and fraternity and proximity to the Alma Mater, which has played an important role in shaping our lives. In addition, it would enable connectivity with a large network of Old Columban’s across the globe.
To achieve this end, we have appointed an external agency “Achromic Point” for analysing, verifying and making the available data up to date, while making all efforts to expand the database with additional data collected during this process through the effort and support of all. This process will involve a two pronged approach by the consultant and to ensure that necessary information is received by them, the following is the methodology being adopted:
- A link is being provided below with relevant fields for the database and I would sincerely appreciate and be personally grateful on behalf of the association, if everyone can take out some time from their busy schedules to click on this link https://achromicpoint.com/oca/and fill in the information requested, so that your details on the database can be verified and updated. Kindly make the effort to provide this information and in addition to forward this mail to as many of your batch-mates and contacts from school, so that this exercise can be broad-based and reach out to those who are not members, but at least would like to be part of the group receiving information about the Alma Mater and the fraternity at large.
- In order to reach out to those, who either do not receive this mail because of redundant information regarding email id and in order to expand the database, the consultant shall be reaching out to batch coordinators and others connected with batch Whatsapp Groups, to request them to enable the representative of the consultant to get access to their group vide a special number +91 9625351802, for a period of a day or two, so that they can connect with the participants and obtain data of Old Columbans that is not presently available on the database, as well as add more people and enable them to automatically become part of the larger group receiving the communication from the OCA centre, from time to time. The EC members / special invitees to the EC would also be personally getting in touch with the batch coordinators and others identified for this exercise to explain the methodology and ensure support and co-ordination with the representatives of the external agency appointed.
I once again request and do hope that all of you will see and appreciate the importance of this large scale exercise being undertaken to ensure that you and your batch-mates are part of the Alumni and receive important communications, from time to time and that you will extend your full support to make this effort a roaring success.
